I'm going to shoot an ultra low budget documentary like film on the JVC GR-DVM70. What are the pros and cons of this camera? Plus, what kind of equipment should i get to record better sound?

i use this camera. i would pick up a better mic, i like the audio technica stereo ones. i use the at822 and it makes all the difference in the world. ive tried minidiscs but the audio sounds much cleaner recording directly to the videocamera. make sure you have decent backlighting, because with any cheap minidv camera, they dont do well under poor lighting conditions.
