Does anyone have any links on reports on the Y2K status of Poland. I live in Warsaw and would be very much interested. I have contributed to the coause of awareness, website www.rok2000.com, so not looking for quick free links. I just can't find any. Thanks in advance.

My son lives in Germany. It surprises me that he says almost no-one is talking about y2k there. What does this mean?

Although the US State Department has information pertaining to the situation re Y2K in the countries in which you both have an interest, it is their policy not to identify individual countries, at least not at this time. However, you will find some strong hints in the testimony at this thread:

Thanks for the URL, that is the actual report which I am trying to find answers to. USA says power and telecom problems, Polish authorities are stating that it is not a problem So who is more accurate??

In addition, I am suprised that the report only mentions those two sectors (i know they are key but......). For a country that has not been doing much I thought it would look a bit grimmer. Maybe I don't have anything to worry about.

In terms of Germany, your comment fits well with the Gartner report of last October, where it showed Germany as a high risk with no awareness

Thanks for the comments, if you have any more please post.
