Is it OK to place an occasional pointer to an eBay auction for items relevant to the food storage and prep?

I have placed a few in the past, and I just noticed a guideline that says, "We ask that vendors refrain from posting direct information about their products and services".

It seems like it would prohibit it, and if it's *not* a new guideline, I'm feeling very stupid right about now for having missed it in the past.

ron, I suspect, and we'll have to check with Di, that this is fairly new, and probably stems from BigDog and i doing this on the Prep Forum.

Um, no, not sure I "get it".

So what's the upshot? Go or no-go? (I guess I could use my eBay homepage as an ersatz signature, but I'd like to think I'm above that sort on stuff...)
