I'm interested in the coolpix 700 for macro work, and am having trouble finding an answer to this question: What is the field of view at the closest macro focus distance (3.5 inches)? Is this camera a good choice for macro work?

the 700 goes to 9cm, the 950 2cm. 9cm is pretty good, but the 950 is the one to get for macro fiends.
