Lynx Spider on backlit Sunflowergreenspun.com : LUSENET : Nature Photography Image Critique : One Thread |
Whenever I am photographing wildflowers I always discover various spiders and plant bugs. This is a smaller lynx spider than I previously posted, but I liked it's translucense in the backlighting. FYI: On the same day I photographed this lynx spider I photographed a "Jagged Ambush Bug" and an "Eastern Bloodsucking Conenose", both identified after the fact. Such little(macro)bugs with such vicious names! Donna

Sorry, I forgot to resize the image before I saved it as a jpeg. If it disappears and I have to repost, well thats OK. Donna

This is very nice. I love the way everything is translucent -- the leaves, the petals, and the spider. Great colors and no hotspots. Good job!

The spider is wonderful. I'd crop tighter.

I wouldn't crop if it removes the traces of web on the left, I think that's quite nice. A bit more depth of field would be good, but is often nearly impossible. Interesting shot!
