I am seeking information regarding my great great grandparents, Louis Tucker (abt. 1806-1879) and Martha ?. I very much would like to know Martha's maiden surname. From the 1850 census, I believe that they were married about 1837. Martha was about 14 years younger than Lewis. The couple were living in the "Big Lick" area in 1870 and Martha is alone with a son, Duncan, in 1880, with an indication that she had been widowed within the year. Their children listed in the 1860 census are: James, 21; Monroe 19, Sarah 16, Elvina 14, Leonard 13, George 12, Martha 10 (my gr grandmother), Levi 8, John 6, Ellen 4, and Duncan 2. I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone with information on this family.
