I paid 599 dollars us make sure to click on the link i sent you in previous email as there is a full review on the cam on that page. The lens is detachable so you can use lenses such as the wide angle that is already in production and the cam also uses the digita operating system which is upgraded from time to time and can be downloaded from minoltas website and installed in the cam. Also the cam has 16 megabytes internal ram so you can shoot as fast as 7.5 frames per second (as fast as a motor drive on conventional cameras. I will include a link to b&h where I purchased it in this email . If you end up buying this camera there are websites dedicated to scripts written specifically for the camera that you can download so that you can add features to the operating system on the camera.email me and i will give you those sights.

finally i highly suggest if you buy any digital camera that you purchase nickel metal hydride rechargable batteries for the cam on one set i get about 100 pictures as compared to 12 on a set of regular alkaline. the batteries are only 2 dollars us and the charger 25 dollars us. Another must purchase is a card reader for about 50 dollars us so that you dont have to connect the camera to the computer i purchased a sandisk usb model for compact flash (the type that the minolta uses as well as the nikon) and it works flawlessly.

dont hesitate to email back with any questions
