I see 3X optical zoom and 2X didital zoom on some camera spec. I can figure out what is an optical zoom, but i have no idea what a digital one is suppose to be.

Answers

It does not change the focal length of your lens - instead it uses less and less of the CCD pickup area. This means you also get less and less resolution.
