I have been experimenting a little with the Canon A50's different image quality settings.

I'm usually taking pictures at the "poorest" of the LARGE settings. I've tried both of the LARGE settings, but I cannot notice much of a difference between them. The resolution is 1280x960 on both, but JPEG compression factor is different.

Has anoyone else tested this? Since I am having trouble seeing any difference I'm shooting at the setting that gives me more images on the 8 Meg card.

In which type of pictures would the difference be most noticeable?
