Do you mean CPR actually speaks to someone other than him/herself??

-- R. Wright (blaklodg@hotmail.com), July 22, 1999.

Well he claims he chats with de Jager. They've 'plotted' together, on how to stop the evil doomers. I suppose he'll claim to be coordinating efforts with Bennett next, and I just might believe him......nah. CPR's much more likely to be friends with Chip and Dale.

Will Continue,

I don't think you are being fair to Chip and Dale.

-- J (jart5@bellsouth.net), July 22, 1999.

I noticed that CPR was trying to bait Carlos with my discussion on Automata Theory.

I gotta point out that this was three people talking past each other. Automata Theory is a part of theoretical computer science that grew out of applied math and linquistics. Simply, it's set theory used to describe how machines process information.

Declan and the other fellow made the mistake of thinking that just because, say, American History is taught in middle school, that there isn't a similar subject taught in graduate school.

It turns out that Automata Theory is very useful as a systems design tool and helps clarify and organize very large and very complex systems.

I shouldn't expect that someone like Chuckie (CPR) understands this. It's a little sad that he can be so certain and so wrong at the same time.

But then the whole debunkie thing is pretty sad.

I -sniff- agree. We feel your pain debunkies.
