I felt helpless all togethergreenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread |
Hi everybodyI read all the Q&A but still I could not play my VCDs on my Thinkpad770. I could not install Xing or PowerDVD. I could install PowerPlayer but after the installation, I do not know how to execute the player (where is the application???). My laptop is administered by my company. Does the installation require some special access right or what? I tried for too many means but still I could not play my VCD. What a disappointment. I really appreciate your help.
Regards.

Click start, then Find. Next click Find Files or Folders. Now type in PowerPlayer.exe and press enter. BE WARNED: WINDOWS NT DOES NOT SUPPORT VIDEO CDS OUTRIGHT SO IF YOUR MACHINE HAS IT, THEN YOU CAN NOT PLAY MOVIES ON YOUR LAPTOP.
