DOWNLOADING OF PICTURES TO PC

1.Please explain how can we down load the picture from DL-500 Camera to PC.

2.Please confirm to which mode we have to keep the camera while down loading the picture to PC.

3. While connecting the camera with PC the battery become weak and off the camera. What is the reason ? Your detailed reply on the above matters will be appreciated.

Answers

Sounds like you did manage to get the camera to download, based on question (3). As to (2), I just place it in "play" mode. For (3), the serial-port circuitry apparently consumes quite a bit of power. Start with freshly-charged NiMH batteries (forget alkaline batteries entirely), or an AC adapter.

The digital camera, when it is connected with my laptop, is using a lot of buttery power. I have this same problem. Strangely the Nikon manual prints this warning message that we should use new batteries. Or we can use the compact flash card reader.

use PCMCIA flash card reader if you can! It's the best method of file transfer.
