Astrophotography & Digital Cameras

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I am interested in taking digital pictures through my telescope. I have a bayonet type adapter that I can use for normal 35mm cameras. Do digital cameras have adapters such that normal lens can be used? In particular, I'll soon be receiving a Nikon 950. Any advise re: that specific model would be great. Thanks in advance. Rob

Tom Malzacher sells adapters for telescopes. Here's an old link I found for him, from an earlier post I made in the forum, don't know if its still current: http:// www.j51.com/~maldak/cp900adapter.htm

We manufacture a very adjustable universal mount which allows you to connect most all digital cameras to an average size telescope eyepiece. See: http://www.scopetronix.com Click the "Astrophotography Products" button.
