Team Building

greenspun.com : LUSENET : work teams : One Thread

Does anyone have some outstanding examples of team building that they would like to share with me. I am a graduate student in adult education and this semester we are working on leadership, communication, etc. I really like the team building style and thought it was the way to go. Now, I am hearing some negative feedback. I am getting confused. Thanks.

My biggest suggestion is to keep the team focused on the customer (s). Unfortunately this is much easier said than done! Only way I have ever seen successful was through feedback from customers which was shared and involved all team members equally. The feedback will only ork if it meets all of the following: frequent, consistent, valid, real-time, and bullitened.

If you have any questions, email me or I will try to follow this thread.

Nancy: Team Building can mean a lot of things, negative and positive. Consider looking into team building using the Strength Deployment Inventory. You can contact me for more info.
