I know some of you are Quinn listeners. The local paper (The Valley Independent, Monessen, Westmoreland County) said yesterday that there's going to be a Y2K town meeting in the Mon Valley on July 28; details to be announced later.
Does anybody have more info? If I get more, I'll post it.

Hi lane, I am shocked to see someone here from my area. Of course there may be others considering this is the first time I have been here. There is another forum I go to on a regular basis. I am a Quinn listener. I try never to miss a show. I also heard of the town meeting. I read that it will be in Charleroi at the Career & Technology Center(formerly Voc-Tech). It will be from 6:00-8:30 on Wed. July 28th. I plan on attending. As far as I know it is free and you do not need to make reservations. If I hear that it changes I will be sure to post it. Also if you hear anything that differs from this would you be kind enough to post it because I would really hate to miss this meeting. I can't wait to hear what the local authorities have to say. BTW, do you live in the Mon Valley? If so, what town? I reside in Carroll Township and I am pretty concerned about any preparations the communities around here are making. Thanks and Take Care.

I meant to respond to this earlier, but since it's here now, I'll seize the moment.I also am a Quinn listener, but I can't make it to this meeting. I live in the city.
Flame Away and Faith Weaver are also in the area although on opposite sides of the city.
My email is real.

Hello, Neighbors. Beaver County, here--between Pgh and the Ohio border. Since the meeting is mid-week and a bit of a trek, I'm not likely to make it. If any of you go, I would appreciate your comments.
