Goodbye you mean people and trolls!!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I have had it with the insults!! I have not been here long -- and don't plan on wasting any more of my time around such mean people. All I did was ask a question and I get no answers, just insults.

Have a nice life, you people. Goodbye and good riddence!!!

Kelly, maybe you would be more comfortable on the other "half" of this forum. In case you hadn't heard, the forum split into 2 parts. The other forum is all about preparing for possible problems due to Y2K. All troll posts are deleted. Here is a link:

See how simple it is?

Killer (DominantSniper@yahoo.com) a.k.a. Kelly (peacefullhome@yahoo.com) and a few others,

Don't know what kind of "troll" game you're trying to play here, but stop it.

You're quite welcome to leave.

Diane

LOL Diane! I pegged him on his first post! Do I get an award?

-- a (a@a.a), July 12, 1999.

Kelly appears to be slightly miffed and throwing a tantrum because she can't find out what was on the deleted Princess Di thread.

-- Anon (amused@itall.com), July 12, 1999.

Yes "a" you get an award.

Anon, just a really stupid something a whole bunch of regulars asked to have deleted.

One wonders "why" it's so important to "Killer."

Later Kelly. You should keep your day job.

-- A (troll@alert.com), July 13, 1999.

Willing to bet it is his day job!

Thanks for all the hard, UNPAID, often thankless work, Diane. I know it must take a lot of your time tracking down this rubbish.

-- Old Git (anon@spamproblems.com), July 13, 1999.

Thanks Old Git,

It's a pain in the ASCII.

And it's still... Y2K.

We are not our Dad. He is in England right now, dummys. We think you people are wierd. Please stop sending us email. We don't care about your forum anymore. Goodbye already!!!

Kelly and Mat "the TROLL MONSTER" (HEHEHEHE)

-- Kelly&Mat (peacefullhome@yahoo.com), July 13, 1999.

Kelly,

Sorry you were treated so poorly on this forum. I would have liked to have read the "Di" post myself. I'm especially sorry you were treated so poorly by one of our forum "moderators." Diane Squire has lost perspective and reason, and abuses her authority here in the most appalling manner.

-- Best wishes (anon@anon.com), July 13, 1999.

to Best Wishes:

Diane deleted the thread because she was asked to by 5+ regular posters. It was trash. It did not even come close to any of the parameters in the mission statement. If you don't like it, you can dang well leave too. I am sick and tired of 4 or 5 posters screaming about their 'rights'. This is a private board and I am thankful that I am allowed to visit and post. Too bad some others are not as appreciative.

Kelly&Mat,

I assume that you really are using Dad's computer. If true, please excuse Diane for "flaging" you. However, this is a Y2K forum, and things like the Princess, and 4001 posts really are off topic.

Please understand what's going on here lately. We are under a "troll" attack; we have a few people that use multiple handles to post disruptive information, and Diane is just doing her job, not an easy job, looking at IP addresses, and trying to inform the forum of these bogus posters.

If you really are interested in Y2K, try to keep your posts on topic. Believe me, you won't find a better bunch of people to help answer your questions. We get all the Y2K news here first. Ignore the trolls, and hang with us. If you are serious. <:)=
