Fuji DX10 is this a good buy?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

Have read the reviews on this site really useful, I am left feeling that for my purposes Internet and 6 x 4 photos that thi Fuji DX10 would be godd for me. However it does appear that one needs an adaptor to load down more quickly which poses the question is it better to go to a more expensive camera with a usp facility already provided.

UK price is about Pounds sterling 270 with adaptor or 200 for camera alone.

usb, pcmcia, parallel port readers are all so cheap and easy that i wouldn't let this feature built into cameras sway your decision much.

I bought a Fuji DX-10 a couple of weeks ago and am very pleased with it. Download time for a 1024x768 normal compression is 30secs which isn't that bad. Quality of photos is excellent and the manual facilities which have been built into it are welcome. For #10 I bought 4 rechargeable NiMh batteries (#20 if you need a charger). I think this should be your first priority.
