How does one get to see the Pope give a service at the Vatican? My boss is looking for the answer to this question. He has friends who are very interested in visiting in October but I have no idea how to make the arrangements. Any thoughts?

Perhaps you can go to your local Diosces and ask a Priest.

You need to have him contact his local diocesan office; his bishop might be able to arrange something. If he wants to attend the Pope's general audience (I think it's on Wednesdays) he'll need to get tickets from the same place.
