Hmmmm....Panicked steps I *WILL* regret later? Don't think so.

How about being in a *much* better position for living my life no matter what happens? Such as:

No debt. Liquid assets. Very self sufficient lifestyle. Pride in accomplishing things of real value and worth. Knowing how to adequately defend myself and family. Being in a positin to 'roll with the punches'.

No, NO regrets here. EVER.

I'm sure that Poole would consider me and mine among the *clueless* who read forums such as this in order to see all sides of y2k, and to seek the Lord's face about what He would have us do to prepare. I'm just another *nobody*... similar to "a bear of very little brain". (Worse yet, to some of you, I'm a praying christian.)

Are we spending all our savings? Ha! What savings? Did we quit our jobs? Well, sort of. My spouse got a better one. Have we taken any panicked steps to prepare for the coming *?*.....

Yup. At first I panicked. Couldn't sleep at night. Tried to picture what I would do when my four little children were going to bed hungry. When someone was trying to break in to our rural home. When I had to turn some parent of little children away, because I no longer had enough to part with in our meager supplies.

Do these thoughts bring tears to my eyes?

Yes.

Can these things happen in America?

Yes.

Isn't it happening in other parts of the world? For heavens sake, isn't it arrogant to think we are immune to suffering here in the good ole USA?

There will always be Pooles...

May he be right. May we all be preparing for nothing. I will personally get on my knees and thank God for it.

But, no matter what happens, whether the Lord chooses to deliver us or not... I will serve no other Master. Have your way Lord. And, by the way, I appreciate this forum, and hope that the *trolls* don't ruin it.

Why the continuing obsession with Poole??????

He took a few liberties he shouldn't have and had his hand slapped for it.......his attempt to prove a point (which he did with flying colours) went beyond the bounds of fair play........

But GET OVER IT FOLKS!!

Methinks some of you, while feigning righteous indignation, are actually more pissed off that he fooled you.

The silver lining in all this is that we have learned that we all need to be careful what we accept as fact.

There does, however, seem to bit a bit of a double standard going on.......when the 'Solar Panel' hoaxster posted the government plot to be involved in deliberate global warming by way of reflective panels on satellites, he was mildly rebuked at best. However, when Poole pulls a stunt and then openly admits what he did, he gets shit on extensively.......

Just food for thought........

Craig, I have always detested LIARS. LIARS who deliberately LIE to well intended folk are especially despicable. LIARS who maliciously LIE to disrupt and mock others, to somehow elevate their own viewpoint or status, even more so. But LIARS who do all of the above while at the same time professing to be "Christian" (or profess to follow any other religion) really, really go to the bottom of the latrine (cesspool).

Oh well.....reaping and sowing and all that.....It's his business, ultimately. And I am, in a way, thankful when people of his ilk show their true selves. Makes it much easier sometimes.

Craig is right. Get Over It. I too have wondered what the big deal about Poole is that people constantly obsesses about him. Why don't you folks that are so hung up about Poole's perfidious nature just ignore him. Isn't the conventional wisdom at this site to ignore trolls?

I've often said I think Y2K is *possibly* a real threat. That's just my opinion, nothing more. It may not amount to a shit. Why is it a crime to come on this forum and say, "It's not going to amount to a shit." Actually I think it will be a major aggravation, not TEOTWAWKI.
