printable flyers for distribution during y2k disruptions

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I am thinking that most people will not do much in the way of making y2k preparations. Therefore, I have prepared a series of flyers designed for distribution DURING y2k flyers. Four are posted at http://www.justpeace.org/printflyers.htm .

They may be printed and distributed free of charge. More flyers will be posted in the next month or so.

These are wonderful, thank you for doing the work.

I am wondering. I teach graphic design, right now I have three sections of QuarkXPress which is a page layout program. I have been looking for something useful that they could design into book form. They will have to do page layout, style the copy etc. I'll need to find appropriate artwork they could pull in. Would it be all right for me to use this as a design assignment? One that hopefully will at least make them think while there is still time...

OUTSTANDING! I have printed them out and will have copies done up this week to send to family and keep a stack here at the house for 'visitors' before and after the 'Bump In The Road' - Thank you for your work!

Hey I got an idea. Maybe I could do a bulk mailing of these to folks in our housing tract before it goes bad.....cause WTSH I'll be worrying about my family more than the community. Thanks for the linkage RW.

Robert, may God bless you for your good heart in doing this project for others! I have printed out your brochures and will be copying them for distribution to my church, neighbors, family and friends, with all of whom I have had varied degress of success or lack thereof convincing to prepare for Y2K. Your presentation is concise enough that it will not overwhelm "newbies" the way that my gigantic binders of info might do. Thank you so much!

Thanks to the anonymous person who made them for me.
