Our 6 year old MC male, Rumi, started getting sores on his neck and head when he was about 1 year old. These occur about every 6 weeks and appear similar to a herpes soar. We bath him every three weeks which gives him some relief from scratching. He has had half of his teeth pulled due to gingivitis. We feed him Avocat, which he likes, but are considering changing his food to see if there is an allergy problem. Any i

YOU REALLY NEED TO TAKE HIM TO YOUR VETERANARIAN . THIS COULD AN ARRAY OF THINGS INCLUDING RING WORM, WHICH IS NOT ONLY CONTAGIOUS TO OTHER CATS BUT TO HUMANS AS WELL.
