Super Potato(e)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Last September I put a sweet potato(e) in the window with a plastic container half full of water, then forgot to water it for 10 months. The doggone thing is still spouting green leaves. Old Git reported earlier that people in other countries eat the greens.

Are these sweet potato leaves eaten raw or preferably cooked?

i think that would be a personal choice Randolf. Raw vegetables are gonna be more nutritional as usual.

Help!! Which end of the sweet potato goes in the water? Or does it matter? I'm just getting ready to start one.
