now Mardi Gras/Parade has finished... it was rather good despite all the commercial bits around gays (fancy buying a whistle with a rainbow coloured string?) and the politicalisation of it (why, oh why! so many people trying to flog the socialist worker newspaper?)

There was a promotion thingy for a cinnamon snapps called Goldschlager. After a drink of it I now badly want to buy some (how more successful could the promotion have been?)... It seems it is impossible to buy anywhere but in Soho Wine in London! Anybody confirm that?
