Please let me know the address of the new forum that deals only with preparedness.....I am SO sick and tired of these dumb-ass arguments over IF, WHEN, WHETHER, IF, HoW MUCH problems that Y2K will bring. I'm only now interested in buying INSURANCE ....ie. doing some preps that will not be entirely wasted money if things turn out to be only a 5-7(I can't imagine anything lesser).

I hope this new prep forum is on the Greenspun server. I really can't stand all those forums that make you load a separate page for every comment. (The old Gary North forum was also pretty good, showing all the topic messages on one page, but it didn't scale well, as the number of messages grew it got very slow.)

good analogy for y2k shimrod, patch after patch on legacy systems, levels that you wouldn't believe existed, like the layers of an onion...
