A website to answer a lot of questions

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I have been hanging around this forum lurking and sometimes commenting for over a year now and I think I have the Y2K concept down pretty pat. No one can say they KNOW what is going to happen. If they do, then they are using "Clintonesque truthisms"... But anyway, I found this site several months ago and have scanned the "mountain" of information there, and all I can say is, AWESOME. The Rocky Mountain Survival Group has one excellent database going there.

There is information there that you will find nowhere else...

How many of you have completed your preps for the unknown, and are now simply waiting, hoping for the best?

This is a synopsis of MY life for the next 6 months... waiting and watching... Occasionally I will find something to add to my preparations that has been forgotten, but not very often. I will continue to stock up on ammunition for my array of weaponry, and purchase more perishable food as the expiration dates extend into 2000 farther, but I am done. I check the forums, especially this one, about two to three times a week, just to see what is up.

Biding my time... putting major purchases off until next year, just in case...

scratchin' an itch,
