Who do you have a celebrity crush on?greenspun.com : LUSENET : cpunk : One Thread
I think by now, everyone knows about my not so secret thing for Mike Ness and Ewan McGregor. So, how 'bout it? Who out there in lala land just 'does it' for you? How far would you go to meet said person? Have you ever done anything crazy, like stalk or build a 'shrine' to said celebrity? Tell me all about it.

I just thought of an interesting tangent on this question - who did you have crushes on as a child? I know I was all about River Phoenix and NKOTB. Did you read magazines like "Bop" and "16" to get the latest information on those celebrities and to get the ever important pin-up photos?

heh. at first i was going to say that i never had crushes on celebrities when i was a kid. but then i remembered Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation. every time he came on, i blushed so hard! but i never read any magazines or followed up on it or anything. i just watched Star Trek a lot and sighed.

Yummmmmmm, Phil Anselmo from Pantera just realllllllllllllly gets my juices flowing. I am mesmerized by him anytime I see his image. I don't really listen to Pantera religiously, though, but I would if it meant I had a chance with Phil!!! Of course I don't, so *sigh* you see I just continue to drool drool drool over him, and yum, I have the sweetest fantasies too! And, yeah, I remember readin Bop and shit to see all the pinups and what not. Those were the days, eh? Ohhhh, and Um I would REALLLLY love a full report on the Warped Tour if you wouldn't mind sharing one *batty eyes*. I'm going in July when it hits Asbury (NJ) and I'm so excited I can't wait. (it's my first time seeing LTJ and I f***ing LOVE them!)

Vince Vaughn is amusing. So is Matt Stone. I have a Swingers poster that has Vince on it (and a mighty fine picture it is), and an amusing Matt Stone pic next to my dresser.

Is this a "girls only Question?" If it is, too bad! Shirley Manson from Garbage, and D'arcy from the Smashing Pumpkins--yummy yummy yummy I got fun in my tummy!

Right now, it's Robert De Niro. I don't care how old he is! Just watching him in ANYTHING (and oh how young he was in Godfather, Part II!!!) makes me wish he knew me. *Sigh*

Last year I saw her in concert, and I was just grinning the whole time. I was right up front too, and half-way during the set she looked over at my shit-eating grin, smiles at me and winks. I MELTED. Oh my god, that made my entire summer.
Yes, I'm a dork.

Do you ever feel like the Chomsky army is taking over every message board on the Internet?
Hmm.. let's see how many celebrity crushes I can remember:
First and foremost - Michael Stipe. I'm in love with this man.
Liz Phair. Tori Amos. That cute girl from Elastica. Chomsky member of choice - Matt (even though he is a putz), Phoebe Cates, Claire Danes, Natalie Portman, Milla Jovavich (sp?), a young Cybil Shepard and Audrey Hepburn.. the singer from Blur (Damian?), Gwenyth Paltrow, Ryan Philips..
ok.. that's all I can think of / am going to admit. :)

john cusak. mmmm... sexy, smart, geeky enough, funny as hell, insane, and the fantasy of many teenage years. there are definitely people who are more beautiful, but he's the tops all around. i have a poster of him from grosse pointe blank (one of my favorite movies and only partially because he's in it), but i don't have any other stuff. i'm not a rabid fan of things and people who can't actually affect my world. i haven't even seen all of his movies. but he's yummy all around. mmmm...
beautiful people: juliette binoche, johnny depp, kate beckinsale, ralph finnes, aden young, pierce brosnan, will friedle, heath ledger, cary grant, katharine hepburn, scott campbell, gillian anderson, ethan hawke, david duchovny, julia roberts, carey elwes, older tom cruise, liam neeson, aidan quinn, claire danes, winona ryder, matthew mcconaughey, drew barrymore, hope davis, noah wyle, anka, michael vartan, myrna loy, ethan embry, jeremy northam. mmmm... so many beautiful people...

hey melissa - you're gorgeous!
and in answer to your question. um ... let's see. i happen to think both rose mcgowan and her future husband (brian warner) are beautiful people, worthy of many frothy fancies ... but my ultimate "crush" would have to be trent reznor, between '91 and '98 ... he's been called the "black-clad keeper of the glam" ... how true. i loved his hair, and his goatee was a plus, too. ah, but now ... one can still love him for personality, despite lack of both former traits. (damnation!)

oh man. let's see. first and foremost, eric stoltz. my oh my. and the others, tori amos, claire danes, kristen dunst, johnny depp, kevin bacon (lol! footloose!) rebeckka the page3 girl, and one more for good measure, julia stiles. yum.

John Lennon, but he is dead. In the words of another, I live under a rock. :)

Crush... the word is not strong enough. My heart aches for the most beautiful creature that ever lived-Ethan Hawke.

Oh sexy sexy, ever-so-yummy is Brad Pitt in Fight Club. Christ, I like unkempt looking men.
And I must admit my lesbian-like crush on Drew Barrymore....I have never been with a woman, but I would shag this gal in a heartbeat.
Last & surely not least: Mos Def. Yum.
