pamie! glad you're feeling better. drink lots of hot tea with honey. =)

i've got to know... what type of racing package thingy did you get for eric? i've been trying to do something like that for my boyfriend for while now and it's been tough trying to find the right program. they're either way beyond anything i can afford, or too far away for him to go to. the other problem is, everytime i think about getting this for him, i get jealous cuz i want to go too!

and thanks for the great writing... squishy keeps me coming to work in the mornings!

You can read all about it on their website. I was all fine with it until I saw Jeff Gordon on television the other day talking about how every time he races he has to thank God that he isn't crushed into pieces.

Now I'm nervous.

I'll go, but I'll watch with my hands in front of my face...

Don't worry about Eric getting hurt. My dad has done those racing packages and they're very safe. Its not like he's actually going to be racing Jeff Gordon along with 50 other cars, there'll probably only be a couple other cars on the track when he's driving.

Don't forget to bring a video camera along!

I'd be very worried about Eric getting hurt. Most collisions are with the concrete walls, there doesn't need to be other drivers around to have a big crash and get "crushed to pieces." Those concrete walls are hard, unforgiving, and they've put many a driver in the hospital. Will his medical insurance cover it? If not you might want to buy some extra (if it is even available for something as dangerous as this).
