Choosing a camera for macro'sgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread |
I am a seller of coins and other very small items on Ebay. Currently, I use a Konica Q-mini with a macro of 3cm. Pics are good but it takes forever to download the 11 hi res pics. I need more capacity and faster downloads. Any suggestions?

Get a Nikon Coolpix 950 (if you can find one!) As far as macro photography is concerned, NOTHING beats it! Visit Steve's macro page ( http://www.steves-digicams.com/closeups.html ) and compare all the digicams. I'm sure you will see that the 950 wins hands down!also see... http://www.cavecreations.com/cp950 http://home.HiWAAY.net/~drcannon/cp950/index.html
As far as download speed is concerned, get a CF card reader. My USB Sandisk CF card reader downloads about 50 times faster than the serial connection.
