Dear all. I have heard that there is a way to cut 120 or 220 film down so that it fits a box brownie. Since Kodak no longer make 620 film, Box brownies are unusable. I own Four of them, and want to play!!! Does anyone Know the process???? Can anyone Guess the Process? Is there another way????? I refuse to give up, even if I have to invent the process myself!!!!!Seeyoulader

120 film is the same size as 620. Just unspool the 120 film into your hand and respool onto the 620 spool and use it. I've done it several times. The more you do it the easier it gets.

Probably a stupid question- do you mean the 620 spool in the camera, or one from elsewhere do you not need two? there's only one in all four cameras???

I have only ONE 620 reel out of four cameras, the rest are missing, I tried today to find an old BoBr with no luck, is there somewhere that would have 620 film reels?Thanx

Try looking at WWW.frontiernet.net they sale film with rollers for 620 film.

I have used 120 (plus-x, TCN and Provia) rolls "as they are" in my Browine Hawkeye. I have to use a 620 spool on the take-up side, but placing a factory 120 spool on the supply side doesn't seem to really matter in this camera.Just remember to get the 620 spool back from the lab for next time...
You can also get a few types of film in 620 format (spools and all) from Film for Classics (I haven't yet, but I am getting tired of slitting 120 to make 127.)
