This forum is intended for people who are concerned about the impact of the Y2000 problem on their personal lives, and who want to discuss various fallback contingency plans with other like-minded people. It's not intended to provide advice/guidance for solving Y2000 problems within an IT organization.

ASK A QUESTION:

 Notify Me of Responses (via email) Yes No --click Yes if you choose to receive e-mail answers of posts made to your question--click No if you dont want e-mail and to only look at the answers to your questions on the actual forum.

 Message (full question) enter in textarea below, then press submit --Type in your full message. If you use an HTML coded message or want breaks between paragraphs, be sure to insert the HTML tag for a paragraph break: a small p between a < Less than and greater than > sign. When finished click:

 Submit button.

The system then reads Inserting Message and your post will be entered in the Forum.

Additional Choices:

1) If new to the forum click to set a persistent cookie for your e-mail so you dont have to keep retyping name and e-mail each time a new question is posted.

2) Choose to receive e-mail alerts of all messages posted in the Forum (NOT advised unless you care to be swamped with e-mail).

3) Click the TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Forum link to return to top level Forum.

4) View newly posted Questions--most recent post is listed and the top of New Questions.

That looks good, although the greenspun info may not be needed. Another thought is a link to an HTML info site as alot of folk have a problem with this aspect of the forum.
