Thank you contributors and volunteers

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Sonoma County : One Thread

One week later and we are still trying to collect up all the names, addresses, email sites, and phone numbers. We are even still trying to dispose of the utne readers. But , what is important is to say many thank you's to all of you that contributed to the wonderful y2k booth at the health and harmony fair. So her goes, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you. These go to Kat Decker, Alan, Peter, Maria, Jean, Donna, John Selhorst, Jan Pat (even if I cant remember how to pronounce your name), Sophia Compton, Peter Fisk, Stephanie Hiller, Bob Brown, Judy Dides, Helen Baum, Lane and James Russell, Scott Hess, Sonny and Steve Page, Jean Wasp, Alicia Wells, Eliza Grace, Rhonda, the Greys, the printers, and so many I don't even know that contributed to the effort. Please know that we are still trying to get you "real thank you cards with pictures of the booth". If you all want a email picture for postarity, contact bluespin@earthlink.net. He, Scott Hess is anxious to get your email and send you pictures.

A closing note here, Most of us are strangers to one another. And we managet to hand out about 3000 booklets in two days. We all have quite a bit more work to do and almost no one is giving any of us an atta boy/atta girl. Please be kind to yourselves and where friction has arisen, take a moment and breathe. Not even the wildest egomanical person would dare attempt to do what we are doing. You are all brave and creative. Look in the Mirrow and say, "you are doing a fine job".

Where others are concerned please look to see that the aim is the same, reality sometimes gets in the way, and take time to smell the roses with them. My best to all of you. Fred Beeler
