Enron's PGE says that it "is aiming to have the vast majority of 'mission critical' systems Year 2000 ready by the end of June. " (PGE Customer News)If I recall correctly it was:
Doesn't this reveal a trend? I don't think that PGE is alone on this one.
- No problem.
- We are confident we will be done.
- We will have our mission critical systems done.
- We will have the vast majority of our mission critical systems done.

Reporter,Good one, you nailed it. That's the trend all right. Scary isn't it? Maybe you could even add a 5. We will have the vast majority of our now reduced number of mission critical systems done. They do keep reducing the defined MC systems. Then as a side note, it can be mentioned that when audited, they don't have really great reasons for why they define a system as MC or non-MC, other than to say "Well we thought it was mission critical last year, but now we don't." Great.
