The next meeting of Contra Costa Y2K will be held on June 17, 1999.

We will be holding a "new comer" orientation featuring a showing of a Y2K video and a 60 Minutes excerpt at 6:00 p.m.

Our regular meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. at 2425 Bisso Lane in Concord (off Concord Avenue - enter through door on Bisso Lane) There is no cost to attend this event.

Agenda Items:

1. Update on your community and it's awareness level.

2. Refining the role of Contra Costa Y2K in support of our community. (See the thread in the "main forum" that lists a range of possible ways we could focus our efforts) 3. Follow-up discussions on "How to speak to your neighbors about Y2K and Emergency Preparedness"

4. Exploring the parallels between Y2K and building "resilient communities" (We may integrate excerpts from a resilient communities video at this stage)
