I smelled a rat with the report of Conrail break-up last week as reported on AP Breaking News tonight at: http://www.tampabayonline.net/news/news101f.htmComputers and safety concerns cited. Any comments?

I missed something here. What does the passing of Mel Torme have to do with contrails?

Maybe Mel died citing computers and saftey concerns

Conrail was bought and split. Computer concerns actually delayed the implementation of the break-up from last September until June 1st. The computer issue was making the Conrail databases compatable with Norfolk Southern and CSX for their respective ownership segments.WW
