I collect railroad glassware. I'm told the Southern Railway issued a glass for FDR's final ride. I believe I have one of the glasses. It shows Southern steam engine 1401 in green enamel on a "roly poly" glass. Southern is on the tender. Nothing else is on the glass. Can you verify this glass was issued for this occasion?

Answers

Since the 1401 is preserved in the Smithsonian, I would guess you have a glass that was produced much later.
