Hello All

Hello All:
As was the case last year at about this time, it seems the bottom has fallen out on this discussion list. That's understandable. We all have other priorities and activities that occupy our time. I, for one, am at that time of the year that I am busy at work and busy at home trying to keep my house from falling into ruin and in my spare time, making the most out of being a boat owner on Cape Cod. I will try not to have an embarrasing sea-related event this year as I did last year but I can't guarentee it! If I do have that situation again, I promise that I will recount my sins here on this list! I just wanted to say that it has been an honor to meet and converse with every one of you over the last two years. I probably won't be posting here much as I tend to try to get away from the computer during the warm months. I really look on all of you as family. I belong to other Titanic related lists but none have had the closeness that this one has had and I thank all of you and Thomas for that. I just went through some of the archives for this list and it was great to see how far we have all come in the Titanic story. It is certainly a never-ending learning experience. Please don't lose that interest and keep this great list going! Talk to you all soon!

My Best Regards to All,

Peter Nivling

Hear, hear!!! I would like to second those sentiments. It has been an extremely busy spring with family, work, and travel. My older son just graduated from grade school and finished the baseball season with his school team, and now we move into the city baseball league. Major projects at work are gearing up as we move toward launch dates linked to summer conferences, fiscal year beginning July 1, and the start of school around September 1. And I've been travelling during May both for business and pleasure. So I haven't had much time to monitor any of my usual Titanic boards. But I do want to echo Peter's words....it's been a pleasure and privilege to participate on the TitanicShack....I've met some terrific folks and have enjoyed most of the conversations over this past 18 months or so. And I will make a concerted effort to pick up monitoring the board and adding my two cents' worth when appropriate. Have a great summer!!!

I, too, have been awfully busy, although I have kept monitoring the board since I quit posting as often. I am finishing my last class this summer. My family visited for a week to watch my graduation, my husband bought me a car this weekend, he leaves for San Antonio on Saturday, and I have 3 weeks to get everything boxed up to move to Texas. Just a little busy! I hope everyone has a happy, safe summer, and I hope that maybe when the winter months come back around, everyone will be back and we can all catch up.

Hello, I too am busy, but I check the board every day. Some of you say you belong to other Titanic boards, what are talking about? Please e-mail some information about this.

I guess that most of us here *do* have lives. =)

On the other hand, I've been devoting more time to my "Otaku" (Japanese Animation fan term for "fanboy") interests so that everything balances out. One of these days, I'll update my personal webpage, post my current resume and get serious about my career.

Everyone, enjoy the summer (except for those of you south of the equator).

I didn't know we were still in business!!!!

I've been away from this site for months because I thought it had gone down and never come back. All my links for it didn't work, telling me that the site was "not found on the server". What have I been missing?

Glad to be back
