I wonder if someone could help me out with this:

I bought a DC260 in Japan (Japanese firmware installed). I wonder is it possible if I simply download the english version firmware and install it to my DC260??? Would it work?

I have contacted Kodak Australia and they told me a chip has to be changed in order to get it to work with english version.
