Y2K in Today's SF Chronicle

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Sonoma County : One Thread

Per Jean's previous posting, today's San Francisco Chronicle featured numerous articles on Y2K preparations in the Bay Area. The East Bay readers in their regional section got an article on preparedness in the East Bay, same for North Bay, Peninsula, Contra Costa, etc. The artilces looked to be fairly good and non-sensationalist, if a quick scan is any indication. The North Bay section, which is the hard copy version sold in Sonoma County, features Sheppherd Bliss, Natalie Peck, Alan and Donna Jones, and others (it could be titled "Present Lives of the Prepared and Famous").

To access all the articles on all the different regions, go to http://www.sfgate.com, and click on "SF Chronicle" right under SF Gate or in the left margin. Then go to "Search articles by Keyword", type in "Y2K", and scan the results for June 4. The North Bay article has "Y2K Connections" and "North Bay" in the title.
