Ought not whatever policy is established to be published on the Top Level page?

Something on this order might set the stage:

How about adding a category to the main Forum-- Beyond 2000

This would make a place for free form ruminations on life or society afterwards. There's more to do than fill the cupboard and look back at the good old days.
