Do any of the scanners or devices out there have the capability to scan in selected images from rolls of microfilm. Such images as articles or death notices as well as marriage or birth notices. I work in the field of genealogy and find there is a need for this ability as opposed to microfilm reader/printers. The scanner would be coupled with the ProOCR programming to enhance selectivity in scanning in articles or notices from the microfilm.
