Imaging Resource has reviewed the Olympus C2000Z with a lens adapter ring that provides 55 mm threads for a 1.7x teleconverter lens. Who sells this adapter ring and lens, and can the adapter ring also support a circular polarized filter and lens hood?

I would like an answer to this also (see my 6/7 QA post re: c-2000 accessories).

I did get an email response from Olympus service eventually re: c-2000 accessories stating that they didn't know about any accessories other than the lens adapter, and that it was not available. Nothing about when or where it would be available.

I've heard that Precision Camera has the adapter in stock.. I haven't checked with B&h yet..

Also State Street has the CLA-1 listed, although "not in stock". they "do" however have the Oly 32 MB smartmedia (w/panorama) whereas Precision only lists a 3rd party version, which I assume lacks the panorama. Also, state street list some lenses not in in the Precision list. Between the two, they seem to have everything covered. Wonder if both being in Texas means anything?
