Hey guys -- went to REI (a camping/outdoor store) at Bailey's Crossroads last night to pick up prep items. They have a 2-lb., nitrogen packed can of pilot bread (crackers -- 70 to a can) which will last years on your food storage shelf. Not your usual kind of camping fare, eh?! It's $18.00 a can...

Also read somewhere that SweetWater water filters has gone out of business, so picked up some extra filters last night. Figures that the water filter company we picked would go out of business!

Libby...pilot bread can be kept for a very long time in a sealed container. And if you can vacum pak thats even better, a whole lot cheaper than buying it from REI. And its not too bad with a little peanut butter.
