Ed Buggs Out

Why has Ed bugged? Many have lain at the feet of the master. He has told his story many times over. In turn, the apostles have spread his tales to others. The warnings are taken to heart or they are not. Having given his warnings the master must now retreat to prepare for what he has warned might occur. I suggest many of you do the same. The time and energy you spend on this forum could be better spent elsewhere. Its easy to sit at a terminal and argue with you monitor's screen. Get up, get out, prepare and join the li

Corrine,

Been there, done that. Preps are done, have been done for a couple of months. Now the waiting begins.

Now for my question... Are YOUR preps done?? If not, what are you doing here??? If you are gathering relevant information, then OK. If you are here to agitate, we don't need it. There are enough agitators to go around, thank you.

Most people lurking here are doing just that... gathering info. Most people who post here, other than the obvious trolls and DWGI's, are offering information... free of charge. The beauty of it is, you can take the advice, or leave it.

As for Ed, I am sure he is TIRED. We who have already prepped are ALL tired. Ed recently moved to a Northern New Mexico location that is one of the most scenic areas in the country. I am sure he is unwinding in some beautiful area there, trying NOT to think about Y2K, and the possibilities of what may happen in a little over half a year from now. Hopefully he is spending the time he used to spend on this with his family. You can only take so much of something before it makes you ill.

Eventually, all the "old-timers" on this forum will fade away to do the same, hopefully... to keep their sanity.

My time on this forum is regulated. I spend a set amount of time per week, no more, no less. I suggest you do the same.

Ditto, Dog! I've been preparing diligently. For the most part, we're done with the big stuff. I'm attempting to "fill the void" as it were, now that some of the leaders have fallen back to finish THIER preps. The tone has changed. The basic arguement of "is or is not" is past. IT IS! If new lurkers run across this forum, we cant' have the Polly opinion taking over, now can we? Those who have left recently are just as tired as those who have finished thier preparations. Trying to shed light into the minds of what occasionally feels like "the mindless", tends to wear you down to a nub! We're out of time to be argueing with these folks. It's time to hammer home the truth. (nothing more optimistic than the Great Depression with ocassional power (I hope) , likely no gas, water in way-short supply (if at all), and alot of unpredictable behavior. That's MY happy face dream. If I tell people to get off the net and get started...it's because I'm done. Perhaps you are also, but just forgot to mention it, eh?
