Use your brain Robert,

The government of China does not want any sympathy for those who were involved at Tianamen Square. I'm sure the left wing TV stations will evoke TONS of sympathy. I would assume that is why they pulled the plug on CNN.

What is the big mystery????

Precisely, Black Sheep. This is NOT America or Great Brittain. the government has, and uses the power to control what is broadcast inside its borders. For them, this is not a big deal. For those of us who are used to unfettered access, it smacks of a HUGE deal. grow up. Thank the Founders for the 1st and 2nd Ammendments. Defend them.

LOL, Chuck. Are you trying to say our government and our corporate controlled media don't spin or outright manipulate the news delivered to the American Public?

Nikoli,

Some spin, of course, some manipulation, of course, but when it comes to exposing the facts (especially the facts that the powers that be want to hide), the US media is waaaay ahead of the nations of the world.

Rick, way ahead is just about right,we don't shut it down we distort, spin and lie in a very sophisticated manner.Shutting down is too archaic, our gov.manipulates the masses to their own ends for whatever is politicaly expedient.
