i purchased recently a EOS A2E and want to buy a external speedlite. please advice me for the best cost/performance speedlite which feet my camera.please notify if additional equipment is needed(power supply). thanks Lavy!

The 540 EZ is an excellent flash, but the other Speedlites also have merit. Try looking at info on Canon's site, and in the EOS discussion list. There's also some info in the EOS FAQ that Bob Atkins maintains. You might also want to read some of the marketing info at a site likeB& H; sometimes the data a manufacturer sends out to distributors can be informative.
