WHOA..... hold the phone.....uhhh.. no way man....uhhhhh what's up?....ya gotta be kidin'...uhhhh OH S__T..

uhhh TIME OUT.....uHHHHH HELPPPppp...

Did Halle-Bopp return or something?

You don't understand, there is more to preparing for a 6-9 than food , shelter, clothing you know. There's the guy/gal who is alone in the non cyberspace continium. The ones headed towards terraboom. The ones without a retard shield. What are we gonna do for them? I came from there, remember? I was spun! I was afraid! I was near panic!

But !!!!YOU!!!!! WERE THERE!!!!!!

I am not sure what I would have done if it weren't for you all! I was alone in the "KNOW" without a validation for my sanity (sic) Without Squires, Gits, Imagers, Kevins, Sysmens, BDs, Hardliners, Dieters, Night Drivers, Andys, Stans, Mikes, PNGs , Fruitcakes, Whites, Wongs, where would I be? I would be going quietly insane.

(Come Mike get a grip) Grip_@(clench, arggh, frown, shiver, stomp)

OK I'm back. My humble apologies.

I gotta go have a smoke, I'll be back OK???? Ya gonna be here? Well??? Oh man I didn't know it was coming to this already. (|:> ( - ..........sheech.... oh maaaaan! {looking back over my shoulder~} NOBODY MOVE!!!!

Hang in there.

We're all a bit shocked. We'll figure it out as a group.

One of the "gifts" I will miss the most are the links that provided intelligence as to trends and understanding as to issues. Being out here in the sticks it is hard to keep current as to what is happening or about to happen. The knowledge helps me to anticipate the impact of that "moving target" on my family and the small sector of the ag industry that I represent. Diane's links are so wonderful.

I will miss Old GIT's wealth of information and the welcome shown to me by a handful of posters. I will miss the expression of deep love of our families, particularly our children, and concern for how this may effect them and how we help as parents.

I do participate in an e-mail prep. list, but it is just not the same. I will miss this forum if it shuts down and will be the poorer for it in knowledge, spirit and kinship of the heart. It is strange how so many of us are from such different worlds, yet can share in our humanity when faced with the unknown.

Thanks Diane:

Sure wish that I could have met you and the others here in person. I have often thought about some romantic settler type of Rendezvous where we survivors might meet and share a while. An exchange of voice mail as it were.

If anyone could bring it off, it would have been you.

Hey marsh--

I always enjoy your posts, your sense of reality in an unreal VR. Keep coming here till the bitter end ok?

Respectfully

You bet I will ! Thanks!

Hang in there- Ed has said this will continue. Despite the sometimes namecalling and insults, this forum has been, in my opinion, a very valuable resource. It has been wonderful for me to be able to hear what Y2K aware people all over are thinking. It has also provided me with a lot of info on what's happening in general that I never would have time to access otherwise. So- let's just hold on and see how Ed handles this.

P.S. Could you just imagine a forum reunion sometime? Boggles the mind. What a crew!!

Sorry, it just didn't work the other way

In a world of placebos,

where consciousness begs forgot

In lasting haste, lest error gird unveiled

my sins bridled held close in contempt

forecaster of night and day to come.

To late, to late, to late.

Rendezvous
