40mm Lense Flare, A Good Hood?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Konica 35mm SLRs : One Thread

Hello, i just bought a TC body, and it came with a very nice 40mm hexanon, and i love the lense, but i have had real problems with lense flare, there are some of them with the flash that have big white lines down one side of the photo. I was wondering if any one knew of a really good lense hood that i could use with this lense? I am currently using a normal rubber collapseable hood, and it has helped a little, but it's still happening. any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jon Potter

Jon-

I have used one of these for several years with no problems. I wonder if there's another problem? How do things look on flash pictures?

As this lens is wider than normal, try the konica 28mm lens hood. It's rectangular, and clamps on the outside.

They are often on eBay at reasonable prices. In fact there's one there right now.
