I heard on the radio yesterday that Al Gore recently gave a speech proposing that Democrats will be the "Party of God" if we elect him in 2000. (Obviously his pollsters indicate that Americans are concerned about the erosion of religious values.)

I didn't really get many other details as I immediately fell on the floor in a fit of uncontrollable laughter. (Democrats?! Religion?! Pul-leeze! Next we'll hear that the Grand Dragon of the KKK has been named head of the NAACP.)

Does anyone have a link to the text of his speech? Or maybe to a news story covering it? I haven't seen mention of this anywhere on the Web.

I too laughed...for a moment.

These minions of darkness have corrupted a once great nation...and now seek to do the same to God and religion.

Aren't the Democrats the party of "Don't throw your morality in my face?" "Freedom FROM Religion" "Choice" and other ideologies that are diametrically opposed to Biblical Doctrine and Tradition?

I wanted to first shout "hypocrites!", but wait....what they seek to do is co-opt God and religious values just as they co-opted the Republican/Conservative agendas of recent years. The only problem is the twisting and perversion of doctrines and principles to further their political ends.

Just as they twisted and perverted the Constitution and the Law to further their political ends.

Good old Gore. The abortion supporting, chinese money taking, gun grabbing, mohter earth worshipping liar now is on the side of God? Remember folks, it was the Democrats who viciously attacked the "Religious Right". My question to Gore is, which God? Certainly not the great I AM THAT I AM, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Is it the money God, the drug God, the Technology God (after all, Gore created the internet) ,Gaya, Vishnu, Mother Earth, or Baal? Being a good liberal, he worships them all. The new democratic "Party of God" has long been on the side of Satan. For that matter, so have the Republicans. Forty million plus unborn babies murdered in the name of choice. The Bible and prayer forbidden in the classroom. The lie of evolution taught in the classrooms as fact. Look what it has reaped. It's either back to the Bible or back to the jungle.
