CHINAGATE

This, the total infiltration of the highest levels of our government by a hostile power, is the most momentous world event that has happened in my lifetime, bar none.

If you are only watching CNN and the networks on this, trust me, you are NOT getting the whole story. If you must watch t.v., stick to FoxNews if you have it. the networks didn't even lead with this, I'm told - reportedly NBC is the worst offender. This story has just begun to unfold. Expect some of Clinton's trademark "wag the dog" megaviolence in an attempt to distract us all. I would expect something fairly large, appropriate for the vast amount of ass-end he currently has hanging out in the wind. Taiwan is launching military exercizes to defend against the PRC (as well they might at this juncture). PRC's buddies North Korea are massing at the border of South Korea - a million troops so far. Just two possibilities. There's also illegal commitment of ground troops to Kosovo, for which Russia has threatened military support for Serbia, and even hinted at nuke deployment...

Yes, "Nixon went to China." But he didn't go there to pick up hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions or to sell them our nuclear weapons program, control of the Panama Canal through their front companies, top-flight supercomputers, unfettered access to top secret "deep black" programs... The "spin," that "this happened during Republican administrations, too, so just get over it and move on" ignores the Clinton and DNC campaign PAYOLA, and the legal backbends Clinton did to get PLA front companies access to sattellite technology and supercomputers - computers that were sold directly to the Communist Chinese nuclear testing program. He was told about espionage in 1995, did nothing, then lied about being told in 1998. He tried to get the Chinese an actual military base in Southern California, but was successfully resisted there by the locals.

And get this: of over 2600 FBI requests to the (Janet Reno) Justice Department for wiretap authority, all (repeat, ALL) were approved except one. The ONE tap not approved was for the telephone of Wen Ho Lee, the Chinese scientist accused of spying on our nuclear program at Los Alamos. He ALONE was off limits to the FBI. Out of over 2600!!! (they can't even commit treason competently!) Explain that one for me. And tell me you think Reno, a Clinton appointee, was acting independently, when Clinton and the DNC were taking money from Beijing.

There is only one political party in China. China uses slave labor, child labor, and routinely tortures and executes political prisoners. It harvests organs for transplant from political and other prisoners before it murders them. China has threatened to nuke LA if we interfere in their planned rape of Taiwan. You might hear a human interest story on ABC about a wheelchair-bound Chinese gymnast visting the UN, releasing a dove and proclaiming her desire for peace among all nations of the world, etc. - but you won't hear anything about China's threats to nuke our cities if we don't let them do what they want to our allies. Free trade is one thing. Letting the Chinese Communists run our Chief Executive and Justice Department in order to steal our top secret weapons technology is another. This has got to be the point where we decisively REMOVE the made-in-China proctoscope that is lodged in deep in America. If we don't, then we, and future generations of Americans, are in for a world of hurt at the hands of these Truly Evil Bastards.

The CIA reports that the Chinese have our cruise missles and are cheerfully back-engineering them as we speak. Grown men -intelligence analysts- nearly fainted when they saw the CIA report, which is also being ignored by the complicit bigthree/CNN t.v. media.

If any one is interested, you can read "BETRAYAL: How the Clinton Administration Undermined American Security" for the non-media-santitized presentation: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0895263173/o/qid=927669819/sr=2-1/002-9572592-3947239 Reportedly the DOJ tried to get an injuction to stop publication due some leaked classified material in the appendicies, but I have no confirmation of that. Also "Year of the Rat" was a real groundbreaker on all this; a lot of rotten eggs have been lobbed at this book, but there's been no attempt to "de-bunk" it, no legal action. The authors have been interviewed in the Washington Post and on C-SPAN, among others, and been received cautiously but respectfully. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0895263335/qid=927692756/sr=1-1/002-9572592-3947239

btw, I am not a Republican. Or even a conservative - yet. I voted for Clinton. This would be a lot easier and simpler for me if I hadn't. Democrats especially should be outraged by this. Not that the magnitude of the betrayal doesn't utterly transcend party politics. Remember seeing that guy at Tienamin Square getting run over by a tank, and thinking "oh well, at least it's him and not me"? Well, in 2049, it will be us. Unless we clean house now. If Janet Reno (and maybe Sandy Berger) are sacrificed as scapegoats and everthing goes back to business (with China) as usual, we're going to be playing Serbia to their NATO, eventually. It would be better for Clinton personally if, after one botched impeachment attempt, there were the political will to deal with him on a legal basis. But there's none visible. Congressional inaction guarantees that this is a wound that's just going to fester. I guess since Clinton-nemesis Senator Inofe went up in his private plane and his propeller fell off, the Republican testosterone-level has dropped (that happened just after Inhofe denounced Clinton on the Senate floor).

If there's any doubt in your mind that Clinton has in fact sold America out to the Chinese Communists, please consider carefully the following news item. Explain to me why, if the information below is factual, the President of the United States is not in fact a paid employee of the Communist Chinese government ("because it's all just too horrible and humiliating to be true" is not an acceptable answer). What else would explain his running our ship of state onto the rocks in Kosovo, and making America into international war criminals, in defiance of the advice of the NSC, Kissenger, Schwartzkopf...anyone available with a strategic brain? Okay, maybe it's not the money; maybe it's a labor of love for him... Believe me, I'm waiting for someone to show me where I took a wrong turn here. If you have some answers, for godssake let's hear them. "The Republicans did it too" is not an answer. The Republicans didn't take Beijing money or thwart FBI investigations into nuclear espionage (as far as we know at present). Even if they did, that's a pretty lame gambit, the same infantile logic of Kosovo that's been noted on this forum already: "He did it first!"

Fund-Raiser's Cover Stories May Have Come From Chinese President Updated 11.02 p.m. ET (0302 GMT) May 24, 1999 By Carl Cameron

WASHINGTON Fox News has learned that cover stories provided by Chinese operatives to hide China's illegal campaign contributions may have come from or been approved by President Jiang Zemin. Transcripts of FBI wiretaps obtained by Fox News also point to the possibility that President Clinton may have known of both the illegal donations and what was to be said if they were discovered.

A great deal of China's illegal contributions to 1996 Democratic campaigns passed through Johnny Chung, a Taiwan-born U.S. citizen who received $300,000 from the head of Chinese military intelligence to be given to the Democratic National Committee and Clinton's re-election campaign. When the contributions were discovered, Chung was charged with making illegal donations, and later pleaded guilty.

Chung last week told Congress he was under orders from the Chinese to keep the whole thing quiet. His orders, he said, came from a suspected Chinese intelligence operative named Robert Luu, who worked for a Los Angeles law firm.

In a phone conversation tapped by the FBI, Chung was told by Luu to say the campaign money came from the so-called princelings: Chinese leaders' grown sons, who live, study and often live lavishly in the West.

A transcript of the wiretap, obtained by Fox News, contains the following:

Luu: "Shove the blame on the shoulders of the princelings."

Chung: "So blame it on the princelings. Do not implicate the Chinese government."

Luu: "Yes. Chairman Jiang agreed to handle it like this; the president over here also agreed."

Since both men were in the United States when the call occurred, those words "the president over here also agreed" may indicate that President Clinton and China's President Jiang Zemin had agreed on how to spin the story if it got out.

The White House has strongly denied any such thing occurred.

Chung's contacts with Chinese intelligence were well known to Luu.

Chung's primary contact was Lt. Col. Liu Chaoying of the People's Liberation Army. She arranged the meeting between Chung and Gen. Ji, chief of China's military intelligence, who provided Chung with the money for campaign donations.

Robert Luu told Chung never to tell investigators about two U.S. satellite firms, Loral Space and Hughes Electronics, or their relationship with Liu Chaoying who, as head of China Aerospace, the company that lofts American satellites into orbit on Chinese rockets, had negotiated their Chinese contracts.

Fox News has learned that Congress was unaware Johnny Chung had been told above all else, don't say anything about Loral and Hughes.

Loral and Hughes are currently under investigation for illegally helping China improve its missile technology. Sources say China wanted to keep the companies out of the scandal in order to protect its business arrangements and ability to acquire U.S. technology.

Another former Clinton fund-raiser, Yah Lin "Charlie" Trie, has now also pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with Justice Department investigators. Sources say they have reason to suspect Trie also may have been involved with Loral and Hughes and their export relationship with China.

The Pentagon concluded two years ago that Loral and Hughes had harmed national security by helping China improve its missile technology, but the President kept letting the companies do business with China, signing waivers allowing the two companies to export their satellites.

A series of launch failures, followed by the companies' unauthorized aid to Chinese scientists investigating the rocket crashes, prompted a congressional investigation, which on Tuesday will release its findings on Chinese espionage. comments@newsdigital.com ) 1999, News America Digital Publishing, Inc. d/b/a Fox News Online. "The administration continues to coddle China, despite its continuing crackdown on democratic reform, its brutal subjugation of Tibet, its irresponsible exports of nuclear and missile technology, its support for the homicidal Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, and its abusive trade practices. Such forbearance on our part might have made sense during the Cold War when China was the counterweight to Soviet power. It makes no sense to play the China card now when our opponents have thrown in their hand. ... We have every right to condition our foreign aid and debt-relief policies on demonstrable progress toward democracy and market reforms, and in extreme cases, such as that of China, we should condition favorable trade terms on political liberalization and responsible international conduct." - Bill Clinton in a campaign speech at George Washington University, Dec. 17, 1991

Thorn,

Here is a thorn for you, (actually me too) that I can't make go away with what I've gotten from the Cox report yet.

How much is congress going to ask for in taxes to fund the massive weapon defenses that will come as a result of this report?

What coorporations will benefit?

How long will this cold war be?

Since I had to pick a viable party for elections, I chose democrat. There have been several instances when I had the opportunity to vote. The only election in which I chose to vote, I cast one for Perot. Okay, laugh all you want. He NEVER would have sold out our country like this. I just knew there was something about Clinton that would come back to haunt us one day. If this guy isn't the Anti-Christ, the real one is doing a good job of hiding. Stay tuned folks. This is not a test.

-- Gia (Laureltree7@hotmail.com), May 26, 1999.

I'm really not too sure what makes my blood boil more. The current administration? The fact that this country was stupid enough to elect him twice? The fact that it's taken this long to figure this OBVIOUS act of treason out (dropped in America's lap PRIOR to the last election)? The fact that this country thinks cigars in the Oval office is okie-dokie (or should that be ovular office). How many out there in y2k-land think this country could possibly be restored WITHOUT a complete "weeding of our garden"? Nature has ways of eliminating the weak and worthless......I do feel it's ironic that an act of man-made technology is about to do this FOR Mother Nature! I too voted for Perot (twice). People say they think he's crazy? I think crazy people feel that way. He's never been polished or Hollywood enough for the general public. Well.......welcome to Hollywood, people. Gotta go now, that "sucking sound" is getting louder!

We've got to get hard, people. We've got to get hard on our fat-assed, corrupt "leaders," and we've got to get hard on socialists and pacifists. I don't mean persecute them, but stop letting these aging venal hippies control the public discourse about arms and warfighting. Get used to the idea of going to war. Total war. That means facing a FOUR MILLION MAN ARMY OF SLAVES, with our nuclear defenses down (because they now have our EMP weapons, which effectively neutralizes our missle defense). We need to PROJECT STRENGTH. We need the PUBLIC WILL to hit back and kill every last Communist Chinese "citizen" (slave)if necessary, IF THEY ATTACK OUR TERRITORY IN ANY WAY. It's a fact: they are willing to kill your children - for the sake of your children, you must be willing to kill theirs. This is the reality. Rouse yourself. Pacifist Ghandiji tactics won't work here, and in fact, constitute a betrayal of the Free Society that coddles you. If you aren't willing to fight for this society, whether out of principle or cowardice, you are advocating capitulation and slavery and for your own safety, I suggest you GET OUT OF THE WAY. If you pray, pray not for peace but for victory. Mark my words: CHINA WILL USE OUR STOLEN NEUTRON BOMBS ON TAIWAN, TO KILL THE "HOPELESSLY BOURGEOISE" INHABITANTS AND TAKE THE REAL ESTATE. With this current crop of rotten Communist puppets in government, we WILL roll over and let them do it. That will encourage them to threaten us and manipulate us FURTHER and to take all of Asia. This is exactly what happened with Japan - we traded with them, we put up with their vicious land grabs in Asia, SOLD THEM THE KNIFE TO CUT US WITH, and then - Pearl Harbor. The next "Pearl Harbor" will be the nuclear destruction of all our major cities and bioweapons released across the continent. Right now China has that knife at our throat, and is LAUGHING AT US, BECAUSE IT KNOWS WE DON'T HAVE THE WILL TO STOP THEM RAPING TAIWAN. How long before they look at the "hopelessly bourgoise masses" here and decide to implement their extermination campaign? Study Marxism/Leninism. It is more expansionist, more pumped up with evangelistic zeal for world-conquest than the radical Islam it feeds and controls - but smarter and more psychologically sophisticated. They will not stop at Asia. They are deep up America's ass now, and they will only continue to corrupt and destabilize us. Wake up and be aware of what's at stake. They are.

This is an emergency. We need to drag this infected wound into the light and be ABSOLUTELY MERCILESS with ANYONE who would betray us. Send ALL the Communist Chinese "diplomat" and "exchange student" SPIES home NOW!

I am praying that someone will do the right thing with regard to Clinton, Reno and especially the Communist Chinese lawyer, Berger. This needs to happen, or America is going to be nothing but a Chinese whore, and eventually a slave state just like it. I would rather fight WWIII than see that happen. And I am not alone in that sentiment. And if this country finally consumates it's capitulation to the Chinese, we will tear it apart before we become socialist drones.

So just get hard. If not for your country's sake, then for your own.

Thorn

Uh, ok Thorn. But, I'm afraid the "masses" won't be available until they're done digesting thier grass....and then, you might have to wait until sometime AFTER tonight's South Park episode on Comedy Central. Come to think of it.....there's that dry-cleaning that needs to be picked up, so, I suppose you'd better count them out for now. Come on, man. Have you been to a Mall lately and looked around at the crowd? No wonder we're in this mess. Just go out and buy some night scopes. That'll make you feel better!

I just picked this up off of Frugals boards. Read it carefully. If this legislation goes into effect it will instantly create millions of felons out of law abiding citizens in this country. It amounts to the single greatest attack on the second amendment we have yet seen. The outlawing of high capacity magazines renders a 1000.00 AR-15 no more useful than a deer rifle for combat engagements. I have hundreds of dollars tied up in high capacity mags and drums, and I'll be damned if I'm giving them up. Are You?

Senate Bans Possession of Hi-capacity Magazines

5-22-99

Well it looks to me that every other gun owner in America may have just become a criminal as a result of the vote in the U.S. Senate. Probably the most damaging vote was the voice vote to ban 'large capacity feeding devices' by Sen. Feinstein.

My reading of her amendment, and someone please correct me if I am wrong, not only bans the importation of large magazines but also the possession of those CURRENTLY HELD held as a result of the exception in the 1994 gun ban.

Feinstein does this by amending section 921(a)(31) by striking out the words 'manufactured after the date of enactment of the Violent Crime Controland Law Enforcement Act of 1994'. Currently that provision reads: (31) The term 'large capacity ammunition feeding device'

(A) means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device manufactured after the date of enactment of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition;

The new language reads:

(A) means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition;

Sounds innocent enough until you go to section (w)(1) which is left unchanged and it reads:

(w)(1) Except as provided in paragraph (2), it shall be unlawful for a person to transfer or possess a large capacity ammunition feeding device.

Paragraph (2) reads:

(2) Paragraph (1) shall not apply to the possession or transfer of any large capacity ammunition feeding device otherwise lawfully possessed on or before the date of the enactment of this subsection.

Should you take comfort that paragraph (2) protects you, think again. Ms. Feinstein is way ahead of us. Her amendment strikes out 'Except as provided in paragraph (2)' in paragraph (1) and replaces it with '(1)(A) Except as provided in subparagraph (B)', which now reads:

(w)(1) Except as provided in paragraph (B), it shall be unlawful for a person to transfer or possess a large capacity ammunition feeding device.

Paragraph (B) reads:

(B) the transfer to a licensee under title I of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 for purposes of establishing and maintaining an on-site physical protection system and security organization required by Federal law, or possession by an employee or contractor of such licensee on-site for such purposes or off-site for purposes of licensee-authorized training or transportation of nuclear materials;

It sounds to me that our gooses are cooked. To add insult to injury we don't even know who voted on which side because our friends in the Senate passed the amendment on a voice vote. However, we do know a little because the Craig motion to table the amendment failed by a vote of 39 yeas to 50 nays.

It does not get better after that: it gets worse. Now members of Handgun Control Inc can sue us in Civil Court if we do not store our handguns in a safe or with a safety device on like a trigger lock. The Kohl amendment threatens anyone who's handguns are not locked or stored in a safe with civil liability. Part of his amendment reads:

`(3) Liability for use: (A)Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a person who has lawful possession and control of a handgun, and who uses a secure gun storage or safety device with the handgun, shall be entitled to immunity from a civil liability action as described in this paragraph.

`(B) Prospective actions: A qualified civil liability action may not be brought in any federal or State court. The term `qualified civil liability action' means a civil action brought by any person against a person described in subparagraph (A) for damages resulting from the criminal or unlawful misuse of the handgun by a third party, where--

`(i) the handgun was accessed by another person who did not have the permission or authorization of the person having lawful possession and control of the handgun to have access to it; and

`(ii) at the time access was gained by the person not so authorized, the handgun had been made inoperable by use of a secure gun storage or safety device.

The language is a back handed slap in the face. It appears to protect the lawful owner, but in reality it mandates that anyone who does not have a trigger lock on their handgun, and the gun is stolen, will be held liable for the 'damages resulting from the criminal or unlawful misuse of the handgun by a third party'. The real sad part of all of this is that no one I have read has pointed out that neither of these amendments would have prevented the Columbine shootings. No one in the Senate has pointed out how stupid these amendment are. --------------------------------------------------------------

-- Nikoli Krushev (doomsday@y2000.com), May 26, 1999.

I agree Nikoli, but then, look at what sits behind the desk in the Oval office. Look at what he's gotten away with. Now he wants to send our troops (the few we have left) into a full-blown land war in Kosovo. I can't decide if I should blame Clinton or every voter and elected official who has allowed him to continue on this path. "Wake up America" used to be a term I enjoyed using. People who are in a comma cannot be awakened by yelling at them. The loss of power to thier television sets and the end of M*A*S*H reruns just might do it. phewwwwww. Could this be the result of decades of inhalation of one substance or another? Too many Big Macs? Flouride in our water systems? I couldn't be happier living out in the middle of tim-buck- two. At least people out here still know what it means to be an American, and I don't hear a bunch of 401k plan talk, and alot of whinning. I never have in my life heard more shrill whinning coming out of grown people as I did during "it's" impeachment trial. WA- humpin'-wa. I can see no other way of restoring this country to it's original intent other than something on the level of a depression and possible Civil War. I do forsee troops on our soil, but not necessarily foriegn. This country is bordering on chaos WITHOUT y2k. It hasn't been this divided since Vietnam. The whinning is about to come to an abrupt halt. Of course, perhaps the sucking of oxygen will cease as well. Now THERE'S something to whine about. *sigh*

-- Will continue (farming@home.com), May 27, 1999.

Nik,

the bill as it stands constitutes an expostfacto law and is therefore unconstitutional and unenforcable. I'd suggest that Feinstein stuck that in there knowing it would have to be struck later in committee, but by leaving it in, it gives the antigunners something to 'give away' so that they appear to be negotiating in good faith when they are actually doing nothing of the kind.

-- Arlin H. Adams (ahadams@ix.netcom.com), May 27, 1999.

Hi Arlin, you're right , I should have caught that myself. But it could still be passed and the existing magazines even though grandfathered, be required to be registered as class three weapons or destructive devices. They could give an amnesty period to have all existing magazine owners to have the magazines bar coded or engraved with a registration number and have an instant list of nearly every assault weapon in the country. Further under these conditions you could still sell your assault rifle to someone, but the magazines would require a 200 dollar transfer tax each. If I am wrong on this please point it out to me.

Nik,

If I were Zog I'd advise you to get a chunk of 6 in. Sched 40 sewer pipe and cap one end. Glue a clean out the other end, place your goodies in it and seal the threads with pipe dope before you dig a trench and bury it in the back yard, dig deap. Then act stupid if anyone asks.

-- CT (ct@no.yr), May 27, 1999.

Nik,

while that's technically possible, I think they may have learned something about unenforcable laws from the CA 'assault weapons ban' fiasco...on the other hand, they're fanatics, so it may not have sunk in the first time, who knows?
