"Federal Days" at T-100, and counting...

Checked this one a few days ago, and figured I'ld wait for a round number. Says the number of "work days" left this year, for the average .gov employee I guess, is at 100. Hummm, looks like the .gov is looking at the brass tacks... <:)=

The good news is that the Fed clock stops often!

The bad news is that just 'cause the clock restarts doesn't neccessarily mean the workers do...

Hi Andy,

I just clicked the "Federal Days" description at the above link, and it pops-up a box that has only the first few lines. May be my browser (I'm on my old 386) so if anyone can get it, please post it here. It used to work... I think the formula includes average vacation days left. But, yea, it's close. <:)=

I'll bet that *REALLY* ticks the Brass that were/are trying to retire and are being told by these very same people "NO" you must stay and earn your pay. Besides we can't keep tabs on you if your out fishing at some UNESCO lake or stream somewhere"!

Very strange. Fed days just went UP to 102. Don't ask me, 'cause I don't know. Our .gov at work I guess. <:)=

Yup, it went down to 101. There's hope yet... <:)=
